It is well known that the Paris Agreement requires the mobilization of private sector investments to achieve its ambitious targets. Odyssey Energy Solutions provides tools for financial and technical analysis that helps to (1) standardise small projects, so they can be analysed through the same lens by investors, as well as making it easier for (2) projects to be aggregated and potentially pooled for investors to address the issue of investment size.
UNDP under its NDC Support Programme promotes an inclusive participation of private sector to achieve the climate and sustainable development goals, and through the Odyssey platform, renewable energy projects can be designed in a way that is more conducive to private investment.
This series consists of two webinars. The first, held on 22nd January, introduced Odyssey’s tools for financial and technical analysis which allows for the project developer as a user, to quickly gather the information an investor needs for efficient and streamlined review of projects.
The second webinar was held on 4th February at 11am-12pm EST to introduce the tools Odyssey provides to help the monitoring and analysis of ongoing energy projects.
