This side-event during the sixty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW62) featured the efforts of grassroots women’s organizations working in rural regions to build climate resilience, along with government representatives sharing their experiences in integrating gender equality and women’s empowerment within key climate sectors and actions. The interactive dialogue between governmental and civil society actors sought to highlight the importance of coordinating efforts and learning to help countries respond to climate change impacts in a more comprehensive manner.
