The objective of the NAMA is to implement 40 small scale high efficiency cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) plants with a total capacity of 20MW at sites where heat loads exist during the whole year. This includes hospitals, hotels, residential living blocks, and industrial facilities. The implementation of the NAMA will result in 32% fuel saving costs and estimated annual GHG emission reductions of 41,456 tonnes, and begin with a demonstration stage at Falesti Hospital.
