Latin America & Caribbean NDC Dialogue | Climate Week - August 2019

The Regional NDC Dialogue is held as part of the Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week.

The event, which is coorgainzed by UNDP, UNFCCC and the Government of Brazil, will bring togehter policy and decision makers from various sectors to discuss the implementation of countries' climate committments.

Uganda: The Business Case for Private Sector Engagement in Climate Action

In April 2019, a survey was conducted to engage the private sector in Uganda to help build the business case for climate action in Uganda. This survey was supported by a background desk study on the enabling and regulatory framework to enable private sector investments, partnerships and initiatives at international, regional and national levels to support these initiatives, opportunities to access climate finance and access to technology and capacity development elements to enable private investments in climate action.

Good Practice Database

A database that provides a searchable repository of good practices and lessons learned from countries that have overcome obstacles and where climate action is being effectively designed and implemented. Users can filter by action areas, planning and implementation activities, sectors and themes, language, and by regions and countries.

The Good Practices have been developed by UNDP, the IKI NDC Support Cluster, the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement, the NDC Partnership and LEDS GP.
